Dance Training

At Footlights we offer classes from 2 to 18 years! Scroll down to find out about all the brilliant things we have on offer!

Footlights teachers are associated with the ISTD Ballet accredited examination board. Members work on technique and exercises, which greatly helps them in their other dance styles. We also offer pre-pointe and pointe classes for those already experienced with the discipline or who are invited by their teacher to progress.

Ballet ISTD
Progressive Ballet Technique

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program. One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory which helps to improve students' understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment. Each exercise in the PBT program has been developed with care and guidance with a team of physiotherapists. Tina and Esther are fully qualified teachers and look forward to bringing these skills to our dancers.
