Everyone at Footlights loves performing on stage and that is what we are all about. Our full scale production weekends involve as many of our young performers as possible throughout the year so they all get a chance to shine! Staff and students work together to make the weekends run smoothly and successfully.
Our next production involves the Dance Academy. Our Dance Academy classes are from age 3 upwards and all the classes are in our bespoke studios at Blackfriar's road Nailsea. This year all classes will be doing a performance around the theme of the circus. Alongside them will be Little Notes our junior performance choir who have been working hard and can't wait to show what they have been learning with Molly their musical director. This group of 7-11 year olds get together and sing every Saturday Morning. They also get a free dance class included in their session to really help improve their performance skills and confidence.
Centre Stage our senior production company have been working hard to out together their performance of 'Once on this Island' the famous broadway musical. This Caribbean themed musical is full of drama and they can't wait to show it off.
